Process & Commissioning Engineer
Bridging oil & gas field expertise with clean energy innovation — CO₂ capture, biogas upgrading, and industrial commissioning across three continents.
About Me
Process and commissioning engineer with 10+ years spanning upstream oil & gas, academic research, industrial commissioning, and CO₂/CCUS project engineering. Based in Montpellier, France — open to international opportunities.
My career bridges field operations and energy transition engineering — from cementing wells in Ecuador with SLB, to commissioning biogas and CO₂ liquefaction plants across Europe with PRODEVAL, to techno-economic analysis of CCUS projects at MGH Energy, and refinery maintenance consulting at EP Petroecuador.
I bring the operational discipline of someone who has worked under pressure in the field, combined with the analytical rigor of 4 years of research at Grenoble INP & CNRS.
Technical Expertise
Deep technical knowledge spanning the full energy value chain — from upstream production to clean energy systems.
Design and optimization of carbon capture systems using amine scrubbing, membrane separation, and cryogenic technologies. Process simulation with Aspen HYSYS for decarbonization projects.
Commissioning of biomethane production units applying membrane separation and pressure swing adsorption (PSA). Full FAT/SAT testing and P&ID validation at industrial scale.
5 years of research in Grenoble on multiphase flows, heat transfer, and complex fluids. CFD modeling with COMSOL and ANSYS; data analysis with Python and MATLAB.
Field engineering covering well testing, production logging, and surface operations. Practical experience in Ecuador, Russia, and offshore environments.
End-to-end commissioning management for industrial process plants. Pre-commissioning checks, FAT/SAT, P&ID walkdowns, loop testing, and operational handover documentation.
Advanced expertise in multiphase flows, non-Newtonian fluids, and heat & mass transfer. Research-grade knowledge applied directly to industrial process design challenges.

Engineering Tools
Interactive tools I built to turn complex engineering data into actionable decisions — available online, free to use.
A financial tool designed to estimate the total cost per ton of CO₂ captured over the entire lifetime of a project, considering CAPEX, OPEX, inflation, and discount rate. It includes a sophisticated uncertainty modeling module that analyzes the variability of input parameters to provide a probabilistic distribution of cost — helping evaluate project financial risk.
Launch AppAn advanced conceptual design tool that seamlessly merges geospatial mapping with high-precision 3D visualization. Project renewable energy infrastructure directly onto real-world terrain, optimize land use, and generate instant digital twins to evaluate technical feasibility and visual impact — transforming complex engineering data into a strategic visual experience.
Launch AppAn advanced renewable energy simulation platform that estimates solar and wind electricity generation anywhere in the world using real meteorological data, GIS mapping, and engineering-based energy models. Features interactive site selection, adjustable capacity configuration, forecast & historical climate simulations, Year-over-Year generation comparison, and real-time KPI dashboards for clean-energy feasibility analysis.
